After a long heart to heart talk with my cardiologist, no pun intended, I decided it was time to start the weight loss war. As a person who grew up in the South and who was fed meat, gravy and potatoes for most of my life, I was completely clueless to what this natural weight loss journey was going to entail. I will share a few of the basic principles I have discovered in the last fifteen years since the decision was made.<br />
