Some detox water diets, like the detox water and fruit diets are also popular; on these diets, you will either eat a certain kind of fruit with your water, or you will add fruit juice to your water.
Everyone agrees that water helps people to lose weight; however, existing entirely on a diet of water may only lead to water weight loss which may ultimately help you to look slimmer, but this will be short lived. As soon as you start eating normally again you will inevitably put the weight back on.

Water diets may help you to drop some quick pounds for a special event but they are unlikely to offer you a solution for sustainable weight loss.
The best solution all round is to embark on a sensible weight loss regime and drink plenty of water whilst on the regime.
