Weight Loss and Juice Recipes
A great way to enhance weight loss is to use some healthy recipes. Using low calories and low sugar food will help weight loss the safe and healthy way. Since vegetables are very low in calories and sugar, they are the best choice if you are juicing for weight loss. Avoid fruit juices as much as possible since they are much higher in sugar and total calories.
Replacing sugar-laden sodas with diet soda are not the best weight loss solution either. Store bought fruit juices usually contain a lot of sugar and preservatives or else they have been pasteurized to prevent spoilage. In a health-conscious society, we know that too many added preservatives are not good for us, making children hyperactive and having other unwelcome side effects.
If you snack on fruits or any other fruits with high sugar content, you will find that you become hungry soon after and you will not loose weight. Having only vegetables as a snack may seem bland but you’re trying to lose weight and change your lifestyle, so it’s important that food and snacks are not your main focus. Store bought juices can sit for months on the shelf and be loaded with sugars and preservatives. If you are a diabetic or otherwise in need of monitoring your sugar intake you should be cautious about trying a juice fast with fruit juices. Anyone just starting out with fasting should always speak with their doctor or health practitioner first. All of these ideas will enhance any weight loss program.
Some diets call for fruit juices while others use less sugary vegetable juices. You can always come up with your own unique combination of fruit and vegetable juice diet recipes. In your home juicer, make mostly vegetable juices, since they are lower in sugars and filled with more essential vitamins and minerals than fruit juices.
