Weight Loss Pills

Weight gain and obesity have become serious health issues, so consequently the weight loss industry has grown also. Obesity has steadily worsened as more fast food restaurants emerged and our diets are increasingly becoming all about junk and fast foods. As the obesity problem grows, more concepts for how to deal with weight loss have emerged.

Many have turned to various forms of diet drugs to help with weight loss. Several diet drugs over the last decade have been associated with serious heart problems and other health-related issues, and diet weight loss pills have even been linked to a number of deaths. Weight loss, in the context of medicine or health, is a reduction of the total body weight, which can mean loss of fluid, muscle, bone mass, or fat.

Weight loss pills are not all created equally; therefore, they have varying results. There are a lot of them that do not work at all, but claim to have an excellent effect. Since most over the counter diet medications are not regulated, you have no way of knowing if what their advertisements say is true or
not.

Prescription diet drugs have been shown to cause serious side effects in some people. While some side effects, such as dry mouth and headache, are only slightly annoying, some can be extremely hazardous to your health. Prescription weight loss
drugs are intended for individuals with medically significant weight problems, and are intended to be used in conjunction with dietary, behavioral, and exercise programs. If used correctly by the intended group of users, oftentimes they can
be a lifesaver. If taken indiscriminately, they can cause serious harm to your body and at times, even death.

Natural weight loss pills, when manufactured properly, should weight. Basically, if you can lose the weight more naturally, your physician will recommend you do so. If you cannot meet realistic goals in this way, diet pills may be discussed.

Usually, diet pills are not recommended unless you need to lose more than 10% of your current weight.

A lifestyle change and good eating habits plus moderate exercise is the healthiest way to lose weight. Diet pills should be your avenue of last resort due to the health complications that may follow their usage.

Quick Weight Loss

Quick Weight Loss

The cabbage soup diet is one of the most well known of the fad diets for quick weight loss.

Since I have been dieting for almost 40 years, it is a diet that I have used many times to achieve quick weight loss right before a special event and find I need to fit into that special outfit. If you ever find yourself desperately trying to fit into your special dress, especially right after it has been announced to you that you have won an award, your husband’s boss is coming to dinner next month, or any myriad of circumstances where you need to look top notch, this may be your answer.

Many people have tried it over the years, but just remember that it is fad, and weight loss is rarely permanent with quick weight loss fad diets. Also remember, they can have a bad effect on your health, so keep the use of this diet to a minimum. I have found it is best to only do this diet rarely, and for short periods of time, but it is a life-saver for quick weight loss. I have found it is best to give yourself about 4 weeks to achieve your weight loss, in case you have a problem tolerating the diet.

This diet is intended to be used for a seven day period following the instructions, ingredients and proportions exactly. If after one week, you still feel that you must lose additional weight, wait two weeks eating normally, then repeat the Cabbage Soup Diet for one more week. The Cabbage Soup Diet doesn’t provide you with all the nutrients needed for a permanent way of eating, but it’s a great diet to get you started on your quick weight loss program.

The Cabbage Soup consists of 6 green onions; 2 green peppers; 1-2 cans tomatoes; 3 carrots, 10-oz mushrooms; one bunch of celery; half head of cabbage, a package of dry soup mix; 2 bouillon cubes; 48 oz of V-8 juice and seasoning to taste. The ingredients are brought to a boil and simmered for two hours. The amount of soup desired can be heated and eaten as required. You may eat as much of the soup as you like during the entire duration of the seven days. The kicker is that you can only eat the soup, plus the fruits listed below. This does make breakfast a bit unusual.

The daily plan in addition to bottomless soup is as follows: Day One: - all the fresh fruit desired except bananas; Day Two - unlimited raw or cooked vegetables and one baked potato with butter if you wish; Day Three - Unlimited fruits except bananas and unlimited vegetables but no potato; Day Four - Up to eight bananas and as much skim milk as you want; Day Five — Six tomatoes and up to 20 ounces of beef, skinless chicken or broiled fish; Day Six — Unlimited vegetables and up to 20 ounces of beef or skinless chicken. Broiled fish can be substituted for beef on one of the days only; Day Seven - unlimited quantities of brown rice, unsweetened fruit juice and vegetables

Again, this is not a diet for extended periods. If you experience symptoms such as nausea, lightheadedness and weakness, discontinue the regimen. You should visit a health care professional if the side effects continue once you’ve returned to ‘normal’ eating. Most people tolerate the bloated gassy feeling because they know it’s only for seven days. You can do anything for only 7 days, right? Nausea and light-headedness are symptoms a bit more serious than gas. If you experience these the nausea and light-headedness, quickly discontinue this diet.

It would be wise to remember that quick weight loss does not necessarily equal safe and healthy weight loss.
